Harvest Rhythm
October 11-14, 2012 at All World Acres
Registration for the 2012 edition of Harvest Rhythm will be open soon
Festival season begins at All World Acres
with the return of the popular Harvest Rhythm gathering. Please join us for this
celebration of music, drumming and dancing within the sanctity of temple
at All World Acres. The festival will include workshops, performances, rituals,
drum circles, and fun for the entire family.
Workshops and Activities
The
11th annual Harvest Rhythm festival promises more of the same
entertaining, enlightening, and educating fun for the entire family that has
become the norm at these events. The celebration will include; nightly drum circles, sweat lodge, main ritual, bardic circle, native
drumming circle, vendors, camping, and several other workshops and activities in a safe
comfortable environment.

Join us on Saturday night
at Harvest Rhythm for a special party in the coffee house. The psychedelic
sixties is the theme so get out your tie dye shirts, head bands and bell bottoms
for a fun time of music, dance, and nostalgia. The celebration will include live
music by Rainbow
Reclamation
Project.
Reading Tarot for Groups with Mama Gina:
Your Tarot cards are the perfect medium for reading for groups - be they
magickal or mundane. We'll discuss creating group spreads on the fly, and Gina
will share some of her favorite techniques. Be sure and ask her about the Texas
Hold 'em Poker Tarot Group Spread. There will be a group reading at the end of
this workshop - please join us and share in the fun!
Tie Dye workshop: We will learn popular knots and have an opportunity to
create our own shirt and designs. You can then wear your shirt to the Sixties
Party.
Native Drumming Circle with Ghosthawk: Learn several traditional native
chants and then experience them with community in a native drumming circle.

All World Acres is a true sanctuary that is developed, maintained and operated by the community. New improvements include the air conditioned community center pictured at left. Also the cafe now features smoothies and veggie drinks from our own organic garden. Always new projects in the works so please come join our community.
A Typical Day at an All World Acres Festival
In the morning stroll down to the cafe for coffee and/or breakfast.
Outside in the courtyard you'll find many people socializing and planning
for the day's activities. Wander into the garden circle where you
can enjoy a quiet moment for meditation or exercise. The fire circle is
another favorite spot in the morning and don't forget a visit to the organic
gardens. Next it's time to check out the workshop schedule. They all
sound fun and educational so catch a couple before lunch. The afternoon is a great time
for shopping and you'll find a bustling merchants' row with a large
diverse selection of merchandise. Or if you prefer to soak up more
knowledge there's always more workshops. In the evening you might enjoy a concert or
show in the courtyard or join an impromptu jam session/sing-a-long. The night is
also time for drum circle and a visit to AWA is incomplete without
experiencing the magic around the main fire.
